Cookie Policy

First published: 15 October 2025 · Last updated: 14 January 2026 · Effective: 1 February 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how NarraHealth Technologies Pvt. Ltd. uses cookies and similar tracking technologies when you visit our website or use the Narra platform.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to site owners.

Similar technologies include:

  • Local storage: data stored in your browser that persists after the session ends
  • Session storage: data stored in your browser that is cleared when the tab or window closes
  • Web beacons: small image files used to track page visits and email opens
  • Pixel tags: transparent images used to collect analytics data

This policy covers all of these technologies, collectively referred to as "cookies."

Cookies We Use

We group the cookies we set into four categories:

CategoryWhat it doesCan you disable it?
EssentialSession authentication, security tokens, load balancing, consent stateNo: the platform cannot run without them
FunctionalLanguage, theme, last-viewed records, form autofillYes, with reduced convenience
AnalyticsAggregated, anonymised page visits, session duration, navigation paths, error trackingYes
PerformanceAnonymous load-time and error diagnostics so we can improve the siteYes

Essential cookies

Strictly necessary for the platform to function. Without them, services you have requested cannot be provided, and they cannot be disabled. They cover session authentication, CSRF security tokens, load balancing, and your cookie-consent state.

Functional cookies

Enable enhanced functionality and personalisation, set by us or by trusted providers: your language selection, theme preference, last-viewed records, and draft form autofill so you never lose work.

Analytics cookies

Help us understand how visitors interact with the platform. All data is aggregated and anonymised, and no individual is identified. We use privacy-focused analytics that do not share data with advertising networks.

Performance cookies

Collect anonymous information about how the site performs, for example which pages load slowly or where errors occur, so we can fix them.

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies on our site are placed by third-party services. We do not control these, and you should check the relevant third party's own policy.

ProviderWhy it is used
Google AnalyticsMeasures website traffic and behaviour. Data is anonymised. See Google's Privacy Policy.
Firebase (Google)App hosting, authentication, and performance monitoring.
Razorpay / StripePayment-processing cookies set during checkout flows.
Meta (WhatsApp Business)If you contact us on WhatsApp, Meta may set tracking cookies on their platform.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or social-media tracking cookies.

How Long Cookies Last

  • Session cookies: temporary, deleted when you close your browser. Used for authentication and security tokens.
  • Persistent cookies: remain for a set period or until you delete them. Used for preferences, analytics, and performance. Ours typically last between 30 days and 2 years depending on their purpose.

Managing Your Cookies

Browser controls

Most browsers let you control cookies through their settings. You can view stored cookies, delete all or site-specific cookies, block all or only third-party cookies, and set your browser to notify you when a cookie is set.

  • Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and other site data
  • Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data
  • Safari: Preferences, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data
  • Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions, then Manage and delete cookies

Impact of disabling cookies

If you disable essential cookies, the platform will not function correctly and you will not be able to log in or access your records. Disabling functional and analytics cookies has no impact on core functionality but may reduce your experience.

Do Not Track

We honour the "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal: when DNT is enabled in your browser, we do not set analytics or performance cookies.

Cookies and Health Data

Cookies do not store your health records, diagnoses, prescriptions, or any Protected Health Information. Health data lives in our secure databases, encrypted at rest and in transit, and governed by our Privacy Policy.

Session authentication cookies store only an opaque session identifier, never your name, health data, or any personally identifiable information. That identifier is invalidated when you log out.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in technology, regulation, or our practices. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above, notify you by email or an in-app notice for significant changes, and may ask you to re-confirm your preferences.
